AMD may be preparing to increase its Ryzen mobile APU lineup by offering a cheaper model.
It currently only has the six-core Ryzen 5, 6600U, and eight-core Ryzen 7, 6800U. Geekbench lit the novelty. It has four cores. It could also be Ryzen 3 6300U.
The processor scored 1321 points and 4261 in single-threaded, and multi-threaded modes respectively. This corresponds to Ryzen 3 5325U’s result. In the second case, however, the new product scored slower as the APU specified is gaining more 5200 points. Other sources claim that the APU scored only 4300 points. If that is true, then the two processors can be completely compared.
The iGPU has three CU units. That is, 192 stream processing units. This is half the Ryzen 5 6600U. The new iGPU performs similarly to the Ryzen 3 5325U iGPU, which has 384 stream processors.
We also found out today that the Core i9-12900K can be beaten by the Ryzen 5 7600X in single-threaded mode.
