Minisforum, a company that specializes in mini-PCs, announced NUCXI5 & NUCXI7 game consoles. These have been equipped with powerful hardware.
Each model measures 80x260x394mm. NUCXI5 runs on an Intel Core i5-11400H processor, which has six cores clocked up to 4.5GHz. It is possible to simultaneously process up to 12 streams. A GeForce RTX 3060 mobile with 6 GB GDDR6 memory is available as a video adapter.
NUCXI7 offers the most powerful option in terms of both CPU and graphics. The processors are the Intel Core i7-11800H, which has eight cores, and GeForce RTX3070 Mobile. The processor can run at 4.6 GHz and the graphics card has 8 GB of GDDR6 RAM.
Each system supports 64GB RAM. Two slots are available. For installing an SSD, there are two M.2 2280 ports. These consoles have HDMI and Thunderbolt 4 ports. There is also an Ethernet port for 2.5 Gb/s.
The price and release date are not yet known.
