According to the latest data, Intel Raptor Lake processors are set for sale October 17th.
This date is also confirmed by the source. It will be announced at the Intel Innovation Event on September 28, as we already stated.
The source also claims that Intel will initially only introduce older CPUs with unlocked multipliers, just like it did last year. They will be joined by motherboards that are based on Z790’s top-end chipset. This means that it won’t be cheap to purchase a new platform at the initial stage.
The H760 and B760 chipsets are expected to debut lower processors and cheaper boards at CES 2023. They will go on sale mid-January. The H710 chipet will not be available, but it will still be used.
Everything is almost identical to what Intel did when it launched the new generation of CPUs.
The Ryzen 7000 processors are expected to be available in September according to the latest rumors. According to Wedbush analysts’ forecasts, the Raptor Lake generation won’t stop Intel expanding despite its excellent performance.
