OnePlus Nord N20 Confirmed To Have AMOLED Display & 60Hz Refresh Rate

OnePlus Nord N20 Confirmed To Have AMOLED Display & 60Hz Refresh Rate.

The new mid-range smartphone from OnePlus is coming to the U.S. and has some significant upgrades over its predecessor. OnePlus’s budget smartphone line, the Nord series, features seven models. However, unlike a few other OnePlus products, not all models are available in every country.

OnePlus launched three Nord phones in the United States. It found the Nord N10 5G, Nord N100, and the Nord N100 in 2020. In mid-2021, it followed up with the Nord N200. The Nord CE and Nord CE 2 smartphones, which are more powerful, are not available in North America.

The OnePlus Nord N20 5G is the new smartphone arriving in North America. It is the successor to the Nord N10 5G. According to, the phone will be launched later in April. The official render of the phone is included in the information. It shows some design changes. The Nord N20 will keep its punch-hole display, but a flat one will replace the frame. Also, the back has undergone significant changes. The rear-mounted fingerprint reader is gone. Separate lenses have replaced the camera island, which now includes two large and one small lens similar to the LED flash.

There are both upgrades and downgrades.

OnePlus will give the phone a redesign and tune up its specs. The Nord N20 will feature an AMOLED display with a 6.43-inch resolution that replaces its predecessor’s LCD panel. OnePlus claims that the AMOLED display will reduce power consumption, improve contrast, and produce more vivid colors. The refresh rate has dropped from 90Hz to 60Hz. The fingerprint scanner moved from the back to the underside of the display.

SuperVOOC fast charging will be available on the phone, though the exact wattage has not been revealed. The OnePlus Nord N10 was launched with 30W fast charging support and a 4300mAh lithium battery. No matter how short the phone charges, buyers should expect a power adapter inside the box. OnePlus did not reveal the configuration, camera, processor, RAM, or configuration details. The price of the camera, processor, RAM, and composition are still unknown. However, considering that the Nord N10 5G was launched at $299, there is a good chance that OnePlus will keep it under $300.

OnePlus claims that the Nord series is a massive success in America, with more than a 2.5million units sold last year. The Nord N10 5G, Nord N100, and Nord N100 can be purchased unlocked on Metro by T-Mobile. The carrier could also sell the Nord N20. It will be competing with mid-range smartphones from Motorola, Samsung, Nokia, and TCL when it launches in April.
