The Radeon RX 6500 XT was launched with 4 GB memory. There are no other options. Sapphire decided, however, that not everyone needs a lot of memory and created a Radeon RX6500 XT version with 8 GB GDDR6. It has been presented already on the official website.
Although 8GB GDDR6 at a frequency of 18GHz and a 64-bit bus are controversial, it’s not significantly more expensive than the standard version. While the number of stream processors is unchanged at 1024, the GPU frequency is slightly higher with the base version at 2855 MHz. According to the source, Radeon RX6500 XT’s power consumption is 130 watts with 8GB memory. It makes sense that it should be greater than the base models.
The Radeon RX6500 XT with 8GB memory is not yet available.
