Tesla Navigator and other Standard Connectivity services become paid

Tesla has updated its policy on “connected” services that it provides for its vehicles.

The Standard Connectivity package will be paid for eight years from the date of original car sale. The package was previously provided at no cost for the life of the car.

The Standard Connectivity package includes basic features like navigation, but no satellite maps or real-time traffic. It also allows you to stream music via Bluetooth.
