In the next benchmark, we saw very impressive results for Core i9-13900K & Core i5-13600K.
Single-threaded performance will be slightly better than Alder Lake, and significantly higher than Ryzen 5000. Single-threaded performance for most tasks is becoming less important every year.
Multi-threading is roughly 10% faster with the Core i9-13900K than the Core i9-12900K or Ryzen 9 5950X. In both cases, this is not impressive. The Ryzen 9 5950X was released almost two years ago. The new Intel will be able to compete with the Ryzen 9 9 7950X. The Core i9-13900K results may suggest that the new AMD is far ahead. It is most likely that it will cost significantly more.
The Core i5-13600K is a much better choice. Its result is almost 40% better than its predecessor and it is twice as fast as the Ryzen 5 5600X!
It is important to note that we are only talking about one benchmark. The Ryzen 5 5600X performed at the same level as the Core i5-12600K in our tests. However, it is too early to draw any conclusions. However, it is possible to see at least some of the potential of this new CPU line.
