Two months after the release: the indestructible Amazfit T-Rex 2 watch received the promised features

Huami officially introduced the Amazfit T-Rex 2 smartwatch in May 2022. The watch featured real-time navigation as well as the ability to preload routes thanks to advanced GPS features. The manufacturer stated immediately that these functions would be added to the watch in the form a software upgrade.

This update is now available. Zepp OS 9.22.7.2 is now available for Amazfit T-Rex 2, “over-the-air” in the Zepp App.

It adds real-time navigation, route imports (GPX/TC/KML formats), and also allows for training templates.

Users can now import route files from Zepp and track their progress while running or walking without the need to use their smartphone.

Users will also be able create training templates within the Zepp app, which can be used for 11 sports. Each pattern can be broken down into three phases: Warm up, Workout, Rest, and Recovery. You can set the watch to automatically send reminders and change milestones. The watch allows users to view their progress during a workout and can even be set up to send reminders or change workout milestones automatically.
