Vivo X80 Pro Flagship with Zeiss camera Launches In Europe

The Vivo X80 Pro has been introduced by the Chinese manufacturer Vivo to the European market. Our colleague was able to test the Vivo X80 Pro, a new flagship smartphone that features a Zeiss camera with powerful fingerprint sensor, in the EU starting July.

Quick and powerful Zeiss camera
Vivo’s top-of-the-line model has a 6.78 inch AMOLED display that boasts a resolution of 3200×1440 pixels and a refresh speed of up to 120 Hertz. The Qualcomm Snapdragon8 Gen 1 and 12 GB RAM provide decent performance. There is also 256 GB internal storage (UFS3.1), which is unfortunately not expandable. It has a 4700mAh capacity and can be charged quickly with 80 watts.

The Vivo X80 Pro’s highlight is its quad rear camera. This was created in collaboration with Zeiss, a German company. There’s also a 50-megapixel main cam, a 48-megapixel ultra wide angle, an 8-megapixel telephoto with 5-x optical zoom and a 12-megapixel portrait with the gimbal. 360-degree stabilization ensures that videos taken upright are stabilized even when the phone is fully rotated. The resolution of the front camera is 32 megapixels.

Better fingerprint sensor
The Vivo X80 Pro’s fingerprint sensor is another special feature. It has a large scanning area and works pleasantly quickly. You can lock individual apps with two fingerprints. This means that two people can unlock the same app. The Vivo X80 Pro in Germany is available only in Cosmic Black. It will be available starting July 2022 for 1299 euros (RRP).
