Xiaomi has been testing the new ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for some time, as it was revealed. This fall will see the debut of a smartphone equipped with this sensor.
Digital Chat Station is claiming that the Xiaomi 13 series will get a new ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. This sensor is more accurate and faster at recognizing fingerprints. This sensor is also great for wet fingers.
Multiple industry sources claim that Xiaomi 13 will become the first smartphone to use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It will be based upon TSMC’s 4nm process, and will adopt the new 1+2+2+3 octa core architecture.
Samsung announced today that mass production of the UFS 4.0 flash memory will begin this month. This memory will also be available in Xiaomi 13.
The lineup should include the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro models. The older models should be offered in ceramic and glass versions as well as a Leica digital camera. Xiaomi 13 will be released in November.
